Paris Gay Bars
It should come as no surprise that Paris offers a number of excellent gay and lesbian bars. The city has long been known for its tolerance and openness. Many clubs have a mixed clientele. Some, like Mondays at Les Bains, seem to attract gay crowds on particular nights of the week. Some "gay clubs" are just as open. For example, the gay bar Le Queen, which has been a landmark on the Avenue des Champs-Elysees for a number of years, is gay on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but mixed the rest of the week. Lesbian bars seem a bit more "strict". Guys, you will not be able to get into the Unity Bar without a female date. Les Scandaleuses is a primarily lesbian dance club as well. Those places that cater to the boys include the Banana Cafe, Les Bains Douches and the Blockhaus, a trendy gay bar with a military theme.
