Location. The shuttered red-brick Parisian Appart Valley Austerlitz hotel is located in Paris, France, in the Latin Quarter, one of Paris's liveliest entertainment districts. The Jardins des Plantes and the Musee National d'Histoire Naturelle are within 10 metres, while the shops on Rue Mouffetard are 150 metres away.

Hotel Features. With smart modern decor, the studio apartments at the Appart Valley Austerlitz hotel are popular with longer-stay guests. Staff at the front desk can send faxes, recommend restaurants and sightseeing tours and provide information on babysitting services.

The hotel is a self-catering studio apartment hotel, however, breakfast is available on request. There are numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Laundry and dry-cleaning can be arranged. Towels and bed linens are provided. Guestrooms are cleaned and the linen changed once a week. Additional housekeeping is available for a fee.

Distance to Appart Valley Austerlitz is 18 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Shuttles run between both terminals and the airport train station. The RER line C train stops at Porte Maillot, Invalides, St Michel-Notre Dame and Gare d'Austerlitz. The Air France shuttle travels to Gare de Montparnasse. The Orlybus shuttle goes to Denfert-Rochereau metro stop. Taxis to the city centre cost about 34 EUR-45 EUR (45 EUR-55 EUR at night). Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The hotel is on Rue Buffon. Paris is easy to explore on foot, and there is a reliable, cheap metro (underground), which runs throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses are a great way to see the city's sights. Tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended.
